What is a Choke and Kill Manifold?

Manifolds are an assembly of valves, chokes, piping, spools, gauges, connecting blocks and buffer tanks. They are designed to control, distribute and monitor fluid flow. Manifolds can be configured to handle specific functions.

Choke manifolds are used in well control operations.

A fracturing manifold is used for directing the fluid and proppant to the correct well.

The Frac Manifold is also a system of valves that facilitates the direction of flow for the treatment fluid. It is configured to allow for the quick redirection of fracturing pressures from one well to another, enabling pump trucks to run almost continuously thereby limiting non-productive time on site.

Manifolds can be configured in either horizontal or vertical configurations and can be single stage or multi-stage. No matter the configuration it will be designed to minimize its footprint.
